OUR MISSION
The GFWC Lake Placid Junior Woman's Club exists to promote the tradition of community service long practiced by the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC) and the GFWC Florida Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC Florida). We joyfully seek to aid and support our community through worthy projects.
Membership to our club is open to all women, 18 and older, who are in agreement with the objectives of the Club and which are non-sectarian, non-discriminatory and non-partisan.
HISTORY
Our local chapter was adopted in the Fall of 2014. It is our mission to help our local community as well as raise funds for local and state charitable causes through FUNdraising, social networking and socializing. Come join the fun and be a part of our growing Club! We love to see our community thrive through positive, woman-powered action!
The GFWC Lake Placid Junior Woman's Club meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month from September to May at 5:30 pm. See our Calendar page for the location of each month's meeting. We hope to see you at our next meeting!
